How to sew the plastic bottle holder (300ml)
Today’s handcrafted goods is “300ml plastic bottle holder with lining".
Materials
Outer fabrics, 15.5cm by 15cm are 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included)
Inner fabrics, 15cm by 14.5cm are 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included)
For drawstring fabric is 10cm by 27cm. (Seam allowances are included)
Sew the edge of fabric with zig zag stitch. (for anti-fray)
Cord is 45cm.
Make outer
1. Lay the outer fabrics with right side, and sew the side and bottom.
2. Cut off extra cloths, and press seam allowances open. Then make gusset, and sew.
3. Cut the extra seam allowances (2.5cm).
Make inner
1. Lay the inner fabrics with right side, and sew the side and bottom. (Leaving 6cm open for turning.)
2. Cut off extra cloths, and press seam allowances open. Then make gussets, and sew.
3. Cut the extra seam allowances (2.5cm).
Make drawstring fabric
1. Fold the drawstring fabric in half with right side. Then sew.
2. Press seam allowances open, and stitch. (Be careful about sewing for the next steps)
3. Fold in half, and baste the bottom edge.
4. Stitch. (2cm from the top edge.)
Make bottle holder
1. Baste the outer fabric and drawstring fabric with right side together.
2. Insert the inner into the outer with right side together. Then sew around.
3. Turn inside out, and sew the edge.
4. Stitch.
5. Thread the cord through, and tie the cord ends. It’s done.
