How to sew the hat (short brim ver.)
Today’s handcrafted goods is “short brim hat".
Materials
Outer top crown is 1 piece. (Seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Fusible interfacing gives fabric firmness, and keeps shape of hat.

Outer side crown fabrics are 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Inner side crown fabrics are 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included)
Ribbon is 2.5cm by 63.5cm.
Brim fabrics are 4 pieces. (Seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Double-fold bias tape, 11mm by 85cm.
Sweatband is 2.5cm by 61cm.

Make outer crown
1. Sew the side crown fabrics with right side together.
2. Press seam allowances open, and stitch.
3. Sew the side crown and top crown with right side together. (Use the Iron-on double-sided fusible tape, better.)
4. Sew the crown and ribbon together.
Make inner crown
Sew the inner fabrics, same way as the outer fabrics.
Make brim
1. Sew the brim fabrics with right side together. Then press seam allowances open.
2. Lay the brim fabrics with right side out, and sew the edge.
3. Stitch.
Make hat
1. Sew the outer crown and inner crown with right side out together.
2. Sew the crown and brim with right side together.
3. Sew the head size and sweatband together.
4. Bind the brim edge with bias tape. It’s done.
