How to sew the tucked cap
Today’s handcrafted goods is “tucked cap".
Materials
Outer crown is about 30cm by 30cm. (Seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Fusible interfacing gives fabric firmness, and keeps shape of cap.
Inner crown is about 30cm by 30cm. (Seam allowances are included)
Outer band fabric is 5.5cm by 54.5cm. (Seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Inner band fabric is 5.5cm by 54.5cm. (Seam allowances are included)
Visor fabrics are 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included)
Visor poly core. (cut-off)
Sweatband is 2.5cm by 54.5cm.

Make crown
1. Baste the outer crown and inner crown with right side out together.
2. Make tuck, and baste.
3. Fold the inner band fabric in half with right side together. Then sew.
4. Baste the crown and inner band with right side together.
5. Fold the outer band fabric in half with right side together. Then sew.
6. Sew the crown and outer band with right side together.
7. Press seam allowance to band side, and stitch.
8. Sew the head size.
Make visor
1. Sew the visor fabrics with right side together.
2. Make a cut in seam allowances, and turn inside out.
3. Insert the visor poly core. Then stitch the edge.
Make tucked cap
1. Sew the crown and visor with right side together.
2. Sew the head size and sweatband together.
3. Fold the sweatband and stitch. It’s done.
