How to sew a drawstring bag with Kanji pattern (sewing pattern is not necessary)
Today’s handcrafted goods is “DIY drawstring bag with Kanji pattern".
Materials
Materials are the outer pouch fabric, 17cm by 45cm. (Seam allowances are included)
Pouch lining fabric, 17cm by 45cm. (Seam allowances are included)
2 cords (50cm).
Sew the drawstring pouch
Lay the outer and lining fabrics with right side, and sew 3cm from edges.
Press seam allowances open, and center the pouch mouth.
Then sew the edges, leaving 6cm open and 2cm.
Cut off extra cloth, and press seam allowances open.
Turn inside out, and iron.
Insert the inner pouch into the outer pouch. Then sew 2cm from pouch mouth.
Sew the hem. (Ladder stitch)
Thread the cord through, it’s done.
