How to sew the kids tote bag
Today’s handcrafted goods is “kids tote bag".
Materials
Outer bag fabrics, 43cm by 34.5cm. 2 pieces. (Seam allowances are included. attach interfacing)
Fusible interfacing gives fabric firmness, and keeps shape of tote bag.

Handles, 2.5cm by 39cm. 2 pieces.
Make bag body (outer)
Lay the outer fabrics with right side. Sew the side and bottom. (Don’t sew the corners.)
Cut off extra cloth,…
and press seam allowances open.
Then make gusset, and sew.
Make bag body (inner)
Fold the inner fabric in half with right side together, and sew the side seams. (Don’t sew 2.5cm from the bottom.)
Cut off extra cloth, and press seam allowances open. Then make gusset, and sew.
Fit handles, and finish
Sew the outer body and handles together.
Insert the inner bag into the outer bag, with right side together. Then sew together. （Leaving 8cm open for turning.）
Turn inside out, and iron.
Then stitch the edge of bag mouth. It’s done.
