How to sew a drawstring bag (stripe style) sewing pattern is not necessary
Today’s handcrafted goods is “DIY drawstring bag (stripe style)"
Materials
Materials are the 4 green fabrics (13.5cm by 20cm),
4 white fabrics (20cm by 7.5cm),
and 2 cords (45cm).
Make the body fabrics
Lay the green and white fabrics with right side, and sew 2cm from edge.
（Place the white fabric in 1cm line from edge of green fabric. Because do the flat felled seam later.）
Bind the white fabric allowance with green fabric allowance.
Then stitch the edge.
Do the same way. Remaining fabrics, do the flat felled seam.
Repeat the flat felled seam.
Finally, complete the stripe style 2 fabrics. It’s body fabrics of drawstring pouch.
Sew the drawstring pouch
Lay the body fabrics with right side, and check the fabric edges. (Fit border between white and green.)
If the edge off, trim excess fabrics.
Sew the edge of fabrics with zig zag stitch.
Then lay 2 fabrics with right side, and sew the side seams. (Don’t sew 7cm from the top edge.)
Press seam allowances open, and sew the side seams to crotch end with U-shaped.
Next, pouch mouth. Fold and press the 1cm wide and 2cm wide. Then stitch.
When making creases, it is recommended to use an sewing ruler for iron. The folds are neat and the finish is nicely.
