How to sew a cosmetic pouch (camouflage pattern)
Today’s handcrafted goods is “cosmetic pouch with camouflage pattern".
Materials
Outer body fabrics, about 14.6cm by 11.1cm are 2 pieces. (0.8cm seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Fusible interfacing gives fabric firmness, and keeps shape of pouch.

Outer upper gussets, 3.1cm by 22cm are 2 pieces. (0.8cm seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Outer bottom gusset, 5.6cm by 23cm is 1 piece. (0.8cm seam allowances are included, attach interfacing)
Inner body fabrics, about 14.6cm by 11.1cm are 2 pieces. (0.8cm seam allowances are included)
Inner upper gussets, 3.1cm by 22cm are 2 pieces. (0.8cm seam allowances are included)
Inner bottom gusset, 5.6cm by 23cm is 1 piece. (0.8cm seam allowances are included)
For tabs, tape or ribbon are 2 pieces. (1.2cm by 3cm)
20cm zipper.
Double-fold bias tape, 11mm by 46cm are 2 pieces.
Make pouch body
Baste the outer and inner with right side out together.
Make gusset
1. Sew the outer upper gusset and zipper with right side together.
2. Then sew the outer upper gusset and inner upper gusset with right side together.

3. Fold the fabrics, and iron. Then stitch the edge.
4. Sew the other side of zipper, do the same way.
5. Baste the tabs on upper gusset.
6. Sew the upper gusset and bottom gussets with right side together.
7. Turn inside out, and stitch.
Make pouch
1. Put the iron-on double-sided fusible tapes on the gusset. Then make a cut in the gusset. (8 places)
2. Sew the body and gusset with right side together.
3. Sew the other side, do the same way.
4. Bind the seam allowances with bias tapes. It’s done.
